BrunotBarbara J. Brunot, 92, of Virginia Beach, passed away Friday, Nov. 16, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Brunot; son, Bobby Brunot; and daughter, Laura Wilhelm.Barbara saw the world through rose-colored glasses. She was the life of the party who never knew a stranger. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, dancing and spending time with family.Left to cherish her memory are sons, John, Ted and Ed; daughters, Marie, Karen and Donna; and 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She lived in Virginia Beach with her son, Edward; his wife, Patty; and her grandson, Luke.A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Friday, Nov. 23, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Princess Anne Chapel. Clifford R. 'Cliff' Dorsey, 95, retired from the Army after 30 years' service

S. Army Col. Clifford R. “Cliff” Dorsey, 95, of Virginia Beach, passed away Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018.Born in Sherrard, West Virginia, he was the son of the late John and Anna Dorsey. He served six years in the U.S. Navy and retired as a colonel from the U.S. Army after 30 years of service. He was an avid golfer and longtime member of Broad Bay Point Greens Country Club.Cliff was preceded in death by his first wife, Anna Dorsey; and second wife, Helen M. Dorsey. MikovitsPatrick L. Mikovits, 71, of Virginia Beach, passed away Friday, Nov. 16, 2018. He proudly served the U.S. Navy for over 27 years, retiring as a CWO4. Patrick enjoyed playing chess and spending time with his family.He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Ruby M. Mikovits; two sons, Anthony and John Mikovits; two daughters, Michelle Hudson and Theresa Walker; five grandchildren; uncle/dad, John Mikovits; along with many extended family members and friends.A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Nov. 19, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Princess Anne Chapel. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 20, at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church with burial following in Albert G.
